The description of this part of the forum says that one can "be the next person to join DMHO" by substitution.
How does one go about doing this?

Well, there really is no set procedure. If you are interested in being a sub, "show us what you got". Post a bio. Post some clips. We can't promise ANYTHING and I hope that the description does not make it look like a "promise". The band does already have MANY subs. Most of those are either people we know and trust to get the job done on a moments notice or people who have been recommended by people we know and trust. BUT, you never know.
One of our HUGE "what if" fears has always been -- what if something happens to one of the guys while on the road and we need someone to step in from the local area where we are at the time. In fact, we HAD a situation like that with our drummer once. We were very fortunate to find a PHENOMENAL drummer from that town who was available to step in last minute and do an incredible job sight reading the book.
All of that to say, we have often talked about wanting to "build a data base of people around the country" who can come for one night or make a last minute jump on the bus to finish a tour if need be. So again, "show us what you got". You just never know.

Hi, Ed deCorsia here from www.DangerousBand.com , I just wanted to take a moment and compliment you on your musicianship and your Christianity. Great job! In Long Island and NYC I have a substitute players book of several hundred performers if you would ever need them. If your are stuck in NYC or Long Island, give me a call at 631-581-2127 and I'll give you listings for all local musicians.
Wishing you guys all the best! And Denver, if you ever get a moment, I'd like to hear your opinions of the industry.
