 Can't find songs
« Thread Started on Nov 6, 2009, 11:59am »

Hello all!

My church's orchestra (in which I play bone) is tackling several DMHO charts for the Christmas season. I've found and purchased recordings of one of them (Jingle Bells) for us to familiarize ourselves with the tune, but I can't find recordings of "Christmas Medley" and "Silent Night".

According to the chart, they're from "The Christmas Album", which is so generic as to be no use at all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for these?

BTW, awesome stuff. I haven't played stuff like this since college.

Denver & The Mile High Orchestra has never recorded those two songs. Sorry.

Hmmm... Very weird... Praise Charts says they're your arrangements - "Silent Night" from the album "Timeless Christmas" and "Christmas Medley" from "The Christmas Album":

...but that's not correct, is it? So where did these arrangements come from? The mystery deepens...

I guess we did put those charts up for sale. I didn't know that. Though funny that it would say "from the album of" because we've never recorded them.

While we're on the subject, are there any plans for the making the background tracks from the EP songs available in the DMHO online store? I would love to share "He Knows Your Name" with my church's congregation. I've already done your version of "Blessed Assurance" a couple of times, and this morning (Dec. 27) I did "King of Glory, King of Love".
